Job Description:
Noah Global Maritime is hiring experienced Bosuns for Bulk Carrier vessels operating on worldwide routes, with expected deployment in October. The Bosun will supervise and support the deck crew in daily deck operations, maintenance, mooring, cargo-related activities, and other tasks required for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily work of the deck crew.
- Assist with mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations.
- Carry out deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and preservation.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of deck equipment and tools.
- Follow onboard safety procedures and company regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Relevant certification/documents required for the Bosun position.
- Minimum 2 contracts in the same position and on the same type of vessel.
- International sea experience.
- Good command of English.
- Male applicants only.
- Maximum age: 50 years.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an international crew.
