Job Description:
Elburg is recruiting an experienced Bosun to join a Bulk Carrier vessel. The successful candidate will supervise and participate in daily deck operations, maintenance, mooring, and cargo-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate deck ratings during daily operations.
Assist with mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations.
Organize deck maintenance, painting, and preservation.
Ensure deck equipment is properly maintained.
Support onboard safety drills and procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Bosun
Bulk Carrier experience preferred
Valid Bosun/AB certification as applicable
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good command of English
