Job Description:
An established shipping company is recruiting 8 experienced Able Seamen (AB) to join Capesize Bulk Carrier vessels. The successful candidates will support deck operations, cargo handling, mooring, maintenance, and onboard safety activities.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform routine deck maintenance, cleaning, and preservation.
Assist with mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations.
Assist with cargo securing and deck equipment operations.
Participate in emergency drills and safety inspections.
Follow instructions from deck officers and comply with onboard HSE procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Able Seaman certification
Previous experience onboard Bulk Carriers or similar vessels preferred
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural crew
