Job Description:
An established shipping company is recruiting 2 Ordinary Seamen (OS) to join Capesize Bulk Carrier vessels. The successful candidates will assist the deck department with routine maintenance, mooring, cargo operations, and general deck duties under the supervision of deck officers and senior crew.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with general deck maintenance and vessel housekeeping.
Support mooring and anchoring operations.
Assist with cargo handling and securing activities.
Maintain deck equipment and work areas in good condition.
Participate in safety drills and follow onboard HSE procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid documentation required for the Ordinary Seaman position
Previous Bulk Carrier experience is an advantage
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
Ability to work effectively as part of a multicultural crew
