Job Description:
MT Crew Management Philippines Inc. is hiring 1 OS/Cook to join a General Cargo vessel. The successful candidate will assist with deck operations and support the galley team with food preparation, cleaning, and general catering duties onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with mooring, anchoring, cargo handling, and routine deck operations.
Perform general deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and preservation work.
Assist with food preparation and general galley duties.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the galley and accommodation areas.
Follow onboard safety, hygiene, and company procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as OS/Cook or in similar combined role
General Cargo vessel experience preferred
Valid OS certification/COP as applicable
Relevant Cook/Galley certification as applicable
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good command of English
Ability to work effectively as part of a multinational crew
