OS for VLGC Vessel

Job Description

An international crewing company is seeking 4 Ordinary Seamen (OS) to join VLGC vessels.

The successful candidates will support the deck department with routine maintenance, cleaning, mooring, cargo-related activities, and general seamanship duties.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with deck maintenance, cleaning, and preservation.
• Support mooring and anchoring operations.
• Assist with cargo operations as instructed.
• Support ABs and deck officers with daily deck duties.
• Follow onboard safety and environmental procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant sea-service experience as OS.
• Previous gas carrier / VLGC experience preferred.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer documentation.
