Job Description:
Spectrum Marine and Ship Management Inc. is recruiting an Ordinary Seaman (OS) to join tanker vessels. The successful candidate will assist the deck department with routine maintenance, cleaning, mooring operations, and other general deck duties under the supervision of senior deck officers and ratings.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with routine deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and preservation.
Support mooring and anchoring operations.
Assist with cargo-related deck activities as directed.
Maintain deck equipment and working areas.
Participate in drills and comply with onboard safety procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Ordinary Seaman certification/documentation as applicable
Previous tanker or merchant vessel experience preferred
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
