OS for VLCC / Aframax / Suezmax / Tanker Vessels

Job Description

Spectrum Marine and Ship Management Inc. is recruiting an Ordinary Seaman for VLCC, Aframax, and Suezmax tanker vessels for October–November deployment. The OS will assist the deck department with maintenance, mooring, cleaning, and general deck operations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with mooring, anchoring, and deck operations.
• Perform cleaning, painting, and routine maintenance.
• Assist senior deck crew during cargo and vessel operations.
• Maintain deck equipment and working areas.
• Participate in safety drills and follow tanker safety procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant OS / deck experience.
• Previous tanker experience is an advantage.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid seafarer documents.
• Good English communication skills.
