Job Description:
Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is recruiting an Ordinary Seaman (OS) to join a Tanker vessel. The successful candidate will support the deck department with routine maintenance, cleaning, mooring, cargo-related activities, and other duties under the supervision of senior deck crew.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with general deck maintenance and cleaning.
- Supporting mooring and anchoring operations.
- Assisting with cargo handling and securing activities.
- Maintaining deck equipment and work areas.
- Participating in onboard safety drills and procedures.
- Carrying out duties assigned by the Bosun and deck officers.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience as an Ordinary Seaman on merchant vessels.
- Tanker experience is advantageous.
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Good understanding of basic deck safety procedures.
