Job Description:
Western Shipping Southeast Asia, Inc. is urgently recruiting 2 Ordinary Seamen (OS) for deployment onboard Tanker vessels. Candidates are required to join ASAP / August 2026. The Ordinary Seaman will support the deck department with routine maintenance, cleaning, mooring operations, and other general deck duties under the supervision of senior deck officers and ratings.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with mooring, anchoring, and general deck operations.
Perform cleaning, painting, maintenance, and housekeeping duties on deck.
Assist Able Seamen and deck officers with routine operational tasks.
Maintain deck equipment and working areas in safe condition.
Follow all onboard safety procedures and instructions.
Requirements:
Previous seagoing experience as an Ordinary Seaman or in a similar deck position
Tanker vessel experience preferred
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid seafarer's documents and certificates
Availability for urgent deployment
