OS for Ro-Ro / General Cargo Vessels

Job Description:

PTC is recruiting an Ordinary Seaman to support daily deck operations aboard a Ro-Ro / General Cargo Vessels. The successful candidate will assist senior deck crew with maintenance, cargo-related duties, and general vessel operations.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with deck cleaning, painting, and routine maintenance.
• Support mooring, unmooring, and other deck activities.
• Handle ropes, tools, and equipment under supervision.
• Assist Able Seamen and deck officers with assigned tasks.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in emergency drills.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as an Ordinary Seaman or in a similar deck position.
• Valid STCW certificates as required for the position.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer's documents as required for joining.
