Job Description:
Martide is seeking Ordinary Seamen (OS) to join a new Oil/Chemical Tanker. The OS will assist the deck department with maintenance, cleaning, cargo support, and general seamanship duties. Previous European vessel experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with deck maintenance and cleaning.
Support mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations.
Maintain deck equipment under officer supervision.
Participate in emergency drills and safety procedures.
Perform general deck duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Previous experience as OS on merchant vessels preferred
European vessel experience preferred
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
