Job Description:
MT Crew Management Philippines Inc. is hiring 1 Ordinary Seaman (OS) to join an Oil/Chemical Tanker vessel. The successful candidate will assist the deck department with routine operations, maintenance, mooring, cargo support, and general deck duties while following strict onboard safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with mooring, anchoring, and general deck operations.
Perform routine cleaning, painting, maintenance, and preservation of deck areas.
Assist with cargo operations and handling of deck equipment under supervision.
Participate in onboard safety drills and emergency procedures.
Follow instructions from deck officers and comply with tanker safety requirements.
Requirements:
1 OS vacancy
Previous experience as an Ordinary Seaman (OS) preferred
Oil/Chemical Tanker experience preferred
Valid OS certification/COP as applicable
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good command of English
Ability to work effectively as part of a multinational crew
