OS for Oil / Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description:

Stella Marris Shipmanagement Inc. is recruiting an Ordinary Seaman to join an Oil/Chemical Tanker. The successful candidate will assist the deck department with routine maintenance, cleaning, mooring operations, and general deck duties while complying with onboard safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with deck cleaning, painting, chipping, and maintenance.
• Support mooring and anchoring operations.
• Assist with cargo-related deck activities as instructed.
• Maintain deck areas and equipment in a clean and safe condition.
• Participate in safety drills and follow instructions from senior crew.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid Seaman's Book and passport.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Previous sea service experience is preferred.
• Previous experience on Oil/Chemical Tankers is an advantage.
• Valid tanker familiarization and safety training as applicable.
