OS for Oil / Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is seeking an Ordinary Seaman to join an Oil/Chemical MR Tanker. The OS will assist the deck department with maintenance, cleaning, mooring, cargo support and other duties under the supervision of senior deck officers and ratings.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with deck maintenance and housekeeping.
• Support mooring and anchoring operations.
• Assist ABs and deck officers during routine operations.
• Participate in drills and follow onboard safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of deck areas and equipment.

Requirements

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer documents.
• Relevant OS or deck experience is an advantage.
• Tanker experience is preferred.
