OS for LPG Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Jebsen PTC Maritime Incorporated is seeking an Ordinary Seaman to support deck operations onboard an LPG tanker. The candidate will assist with routine maintenance, cleaning, and other duties assigned by the Bosun and deck officers.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carry out cleaning, painting, and routine deck maintenance.
• Assist with mooring and anchoring operations under supervision.
• Maintain deck tools and equipment in good condition.
• Assist the deck team with assigned operational duties.
• Follow onboard safety instructions and participate in emergency drills.

Requirements

• Relevant maritime training and qualifications for the Ordinary Seaman position.
• Valid STCW certificates as required.
• Valid seafarer medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and Seaman’s Book.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Previous shipboard experience is an advantage; required tanker familiarization training must meet company and flag requirements.
