OS for LPG Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Status Maritime Corp. is hiring an Ordinary Seaman (OS) to support the deck department onboard an LPG Carrier. The role involves routine deck maintenance, cleaning, mooring assistance, and general duties necessary for safe vessel operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with deck cleaning, painting, chipping, and maintenance.
• Support mooring, anchoring, and other deck operations.
• Assist Able Seamen and deck officers with daily tasks.
• Maintain deck tools and equipment in good condition.
• Follow onboard safety procedures and emergency instructions.

Requirements

• Valid STCW certificates applicable to rank.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Previous experience as an Ordinary Seaman is preferred.
• LPG or tanker vessel experience is an advantage.
• Valid passport and seafarer's documents.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a deck crew.
