Job Description
Aqualink Maritime, Inc. is recruiting an Ordinary Seaman (OS) for a Container Vessel operating in the Far East Asia Trade. This position is available for deployment in July 2026. The successful candidate will support the deck department with maintenance, housekeeping, mooring operations, and cargo-related activities while developing practical onboard experience.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with deck maintenance and cleaning duties.
Support mooring and anchoring operations.
Assist during cargo loading and unloading activities.
Maintain cleanliness of accommodation and deck work areas.
Follow instructions from senior officers and comply with safety procedures.
Requirements
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Minimum 12 months of experience in the present rank on a Container Vessel or similar merchant vessel
Valid passport and seaman's book
