OS for Container Carrier Vessel

Job Description

Jebsen PTC is seeking an Ordinary Seaman (OS) to join a Container Vessel. The OS will assist the deck department with maintenance, cleaning, mooring, cargo support, and general deck duties under the supervision of senior deck crew.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with deck maintenance and housekeeping.
• Support mooring and anchoring operations.
• Assist ABs and deck officers during cargo and deck operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of deck areas and equipment.
• Participate in safety drills and follow onboard procedures.

Requirements

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid seafarer documents.
• Relevant OS / deck experience is an advantage.
• Container Vessel experience is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills.
