OS for Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description:

ASM is seeking Ordinary Seamen to support daily deck operations aboard chemical tankers. Successful candidates will assist senior deck crew with routine maintenance, mooring activities, and general vessel duties while following established safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with deck cleaning, painting, and routine maintenance.
• Support mooring and unmooring operations.
• Handle ropes, tools, and deck equipment under supervision.
• Assist Able Seamen and deck officers with assigned tasks.
• Participate in emergency drills and maintain safe working areas.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as an Ordinary Seaman or in a similar deck role.
• Valid STCW certificates as required for the position.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer's documents as required for employment.
