Job Description:
Trans Star Shipping Agency Corp. is currently recruiting experienced seafarers to join Bulk Carrier Handymax vessels. Multiple deck and engine department positions are available. Candidates with relevant experience and valid maritime qualifications are encouraged to apply.
Open Positions:
• Ordinary Seaman (OS)
Key Responsibilities:
• Performing duties according to the assigned rank and department
• Supporting safe and efficient vessel operations
• Carrying out maintenance, watchkeeping, cargo, deck, or engine duties as applicable
• Maintaining vessel equipment and work areas in accordance with company procedures
• Following applicable maritime, safety, and HSE requirements
Requirements:
• Relevant experience in the applied rank, preferably on Handymax vessels
• Valid Certificate of Competency / Certificate of Proficiency as applicable
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid seafarer’s medical certificate
• Valid passport and Seaman’s Book
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multinational crew
• Candidates must meet all applicable flag-state and company requirements
