Job Description:
A Bulk Carrier vessel is currently seeking an experienced OS to join the crew as soon as possible. The vessel operates in international trading routes with a mixed foreign crew. The successful candidate will support engine room operations, assist senior engineering officers, and help ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist in the operation and maintenance of engine room machinery
Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and maintenance tasks
Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities
Support engineering officers during repairs and inspections
Follow all safety, environmental, and company procedures onboard
Requirements:
Valid STCW 2010 certificates
Valid US Visa
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Minimum 2 years of experience onboard the same type of vessel
Experience in foreign trading areas
Experience working with multinational crews
