OS for Bulk Carrier Vessel

Job Description

An international crewing company is recruiting 1 Ordinary Seaman (OS) to join a Bulk Carrier vessel.

The successful candidate will support the Deck Department with routine maintenance, cleaning, mooring, anchoring, and general deck operations under the supervision of senior crew members.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with deck maintenance, cleaning, and preservation.
• Support mooring and anchoring operations.
• Assist with cargo and deck operations as instructed.
• Maintain deck equipment and working areas.
• Participate in safety drills and follow onboard procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant sea-service experience as Ordinary Seaman.
• Previous Bulk Carrier experience preferred.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer documentation.
