Job Description:
Our client is urgently seeking an Ordinary Seaman (OS) to join a Bulk Carrier Vessel operating on a tramping trade. The successful candidate will support the deck department with routine maintenance, cleaning, cargo operations, and other duties under the supervision of senior deck crew.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with general deck maintenance and cleaning.
- Supporting cargo handling and securing operations.
- Assisting with mooring and anchoring operations.
- Maintaining deck equipment and work areas.
- Performing duties assigned by the Bosun and deck officers.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience as an Ordinary Seaman on merchant vessels.
- Breakbulk vessel experience is advantageous.
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Good understanding of basic deck safety procedures.
