Job Description:
SeaCrest Maritime Management Inc. is seeking an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join an Oil/Chemical Tanker trading worldwide. The position is open to Filipino seafarers from the Philippines only. Candidates must have completed at least one full contract on an international trading vessel. The Able Seaman will support deck operations, cargo activities, mooring, maintenance, and safe vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with mooring, anchoring, and general deck operations.
Support cargo and tanker operations under the direction of deck officers.
Carry out deck maintenance, painting, cleaning, and repairs.
Maintain deck equipment and ensure working areas are kept safe and clean.
Follow tanker safety procedures and company operational standards.
Requirements:
Filipino seafarers from the Philippines only
Minimum 1 completed full contract on an international trading vessel
Previous Able Seaman experience required
Oil/Chemical Tanker experience preferred
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Good command of English
Valid seafarer's documents
