Job Description:
Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is currently recruiting an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a Container Vessel. The successful candidate will support the deck department with navigation watchkeeping, deck operations, maintenance, mooring, cargo-related activities, and general safety duties onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform routine deck maintenance, cleaning, and preservation work.
Assist with mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations.
Participate in navigational watchkeeping duties as assigned.
Assist with safety drills and emergency response procedures.
Follow all vessel safety procedures and instructions from deck officers.
Requirements:
Previous Able Seaman (AB) experience
Container vessel experience preferred
Valid STCW certificates
Valid AB / relevant CoC or COP
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good command of English
Ability to work effectively as part of a multinational crew
