Job Description

Kvarnership is recruiting an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a Chemical Tanker vessel for an upcoming deployment in November 2026.

The successful candidate will support deck operations, maintenance, mooring and cargo-related activities while following the instructions of the deck officers and complying with onboard safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out deck maintenance, cleaning and painting duties
• Participate in mooring and anchoring operations
• Assist with cargo operations as instructed
• Perform navigational watchkeeping duties when assigned
• Maintain deck equipment and ensure operational readiness
• Participate in safety drills and emergency procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Able Seaman onboard a vessel is required
• Chemical Tanker experience is an advantage
• Valid Able Seaman Certificate of Proficiency
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid passport, seaman's book and medical certificate
• Good English communication skills
• Strong teamwork and safety awareness
