Job Description:
OSM Thome is currently recruiting an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a modern Car Carrier operating on worldwide trading routes. The successful candidate will become part of a professional international crew, supporting safe deck operations, cargo handling, and vessel maintenance while ensuring compliance with company procedures and international maritime regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform mooring, unmooring, anchoring, and cargo-related deck operations.
Carry out lookout and helmsman duties as assigned by the bridge team.
Assist with lashing and securing vehicles and cargo during loading and unloading operations.
Maintain the deck, accommodation areas, and safety equipment.
Participate in emergency drills and comply with company HSE policies and international maritime regulations.
Requirements:
Valid Able Seaman (AB) Certificate.
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Valid passport and seafarer's documents.
Previous sea service as an Able Seaman, preferably onboard Car Carriers or similar vessel types.
Good English communication skills.
Strong teamwork skills and commitment to safe working practices.
Willingness to work on worldwide trading routes.
