Job Description:
Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is currently looking for an experienced AB / Gangway Operator to join a Heavy Lift Vessel operating in the UK. The position is scheduled to start on 16 September 2026 on a 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off rotation.
Open Position:
• AB / Gangway Operator
Key Responsibilities:
• Carrying out general AB deck and seamanship duties
• Operating and managing gangway equipment safely
• Supporting vessel access, deck, and offshore operations
• Assisting with lifting and cargo operations as required
• Following vessel, lifting, and HSE procedures
Requirements:
• UK Working Rights – mandatory
• Valid AB CoC
• Valid Gangway Certificate or Stage 2 Crane Operator Certificate
• Valid STCW certificates
• GWO Sea Survival
• Valid medical certificate
• Valid Seaman’s Book
• Valid passport
• Previous Heavy Lift / offshore vessel experience preferred
• Availability to join on 16 September 2026
