AB for VLGC / VLCC Vessel

Job Description

Virjen Shipping Corporation is recruiting an Able Seaman (AB) for VLGC / VLCC vessels. The AB will support the deck department with cargo-related activities, mooring and anchoring operations, deck maintenance, equipment handling, and general seamanship duties.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations.
• Carrying out deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and preservation work.
• Supporting safe handling of deck machinery and cargo equipment.
• Participating in deck watchkeeping and emergency drills.
• Maintaining safe and clean working areas onboard.

Requirements

• Valid AB Certificate / qualification.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Relevant experience on VLGC, VLCC, or similar tanker vessels.
• Valid Seafarer's Book and passport.
• Proficiency in English communication.
