AB for VLGC Vessel

Job Description

An international crewing company is recruiting 3 experienced Able Seamen (AB) for VLGC (Very Large Gas Carrier) vessels. Candidates should have relevant sea-service experience and be familiar with the requirements of gas carrier operations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform routine deck maintenance, cleaning, and preservation.
• Assist with mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations.
• Maintain deck equipment and working areas.
• Support gas carrier operations under the supervision of deck officers.
• Participate in safety drills and follow onboard procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Able Seaman (AB) certification.
• Relevant sea-service experience.
• Previous gas carrier / VLGC experience preferred.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer documentation.
