AB for VLCC Tanker Vessel

Job Description:

Jawar Al Khaleej Maritime L.L.C. is seeking qualified Able Seamen to join its newly acquired VLCC. Candidates should have relevant deck experience and be familiar with tanker safety procedures, mooring operations, and routine vessel maintenance.

The successful candidate will support deck operations and contribute to the safe and efficient running of the vessel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mooring, anchoring, and routine deck duties.

• Assist with deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and equipment inspections.

• Follow instructions from deck officers and the Bosun.

• Participate in safety drills and emergency response activities.

• Observe onboard safety procedures and maintain clean, safe working areas.

Requirements:

• Valid Able Seafarer Deck qualification or applicable Certificate of Proficiency, where required.

• Valid STCW certificates.

• Valid seafarer's medical fitness certificate.

• Valid passport, seaman's book, and required travel documents.

• Relevant sea service as an Able Seaman; crude oil tanker experience preferred.

• Knowledge of mooring operations, deck maintenance, and safety procedures.

• Good command of English.
