Job Description:
Foscon Shipmanagement Inc. is urgently hiring an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join an Asphalt/Bitumen Tanker trading worldwide. The AB will assist with daily deck operations, mooring, cargo-related activities, deck maintenance, and other duties required for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assist with mooring, anchoring, and other deck operations.
- Support cargo operations as instructed by deck officers.
- Perform deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and preservation.
- Operate and maintain deck equipment and tools.
- Follow onboard safety procedures and instructions from senior officers.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid AB certification/COP as applicable.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Relevant sea experience as an Able Seaman.
- Tanker experience is preferred.
- Valid seafarer's documents required for the position.
