Job Description:
Anglo-Eastern is currently recruiting 8 Able Seamen (AB) to join its Ro-Ro fleet. Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting deck operations, cargo handling, mooring activities, and general vessel maintenance while ensuring compliance with company procedures and international maritime regulations. Previous experience on RoRo or similar commercial vessels is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform mooring, anchoring, and cargo handling operations safely.
Carry out routine deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and preservation work.
Inspect and maintain deck equipment and safety gear.
Assist deck officers during navigation and cargo operations.
Participate in emergency drills and follow all onboard safety procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Previous experience as Able Seaman on RoRo or similar merchant vessels preferred
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
