AB for Ro-Ro Vessel (UK)

Job Description:
Experienced Able Seamen (ABs) are required to join RoRo vessels operating in UK waters. The positions are available ASAP on a fixed 6 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation. Previous experience in rank is required, and candidates must have the appropriate UK work authorization.

Able Seaman (AB)

Key Responsibilities:
• Carrying out general deck and seamanship duties
• Assisting with cargo, mooring, and vessel operations
• Maintaining deck equipment and work areas
• Supporting safe loading and discharge operations
• Following vessel, STCW, and HSE procedures

Requirements:
• CoC A-II/5 – Able Seafarer Deck
• Previous experience as an AB in rank – mandatory
• UK Frontier Worker Permit or relevant UK Work Permit – mandatory
• Valid basic STCW certification
• Basic IGF Certificate – required for some vessels
• Valid passport and seafarer documentation
• Valid medical certificate
• Good English communication skills
• Availability to join ASAP
