AB for Oil Tanker Vessel

Job Description:

Blackharbor Maritime Services Pvt. Ltd. is hiring an Able Seaman (AB) to join its fleet of Oil Tanker vessels. The position is available on an Oil Tanker of approximately 4,200 GRT. The AB will be responsible for carrying out general deck and seamanship duties, supporting cargo and mooring operations, and maintaining the vessel's deck areas and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform routine deck maintenance and general seamanship duties.
• Assist with mooring, anchoring, and berthing operations.
• Support cargo operations as instructed by deck officers.
• Maintain deck equipment and working areas.
• Participate in safety drills and follow onboard safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Indian COP is mandatory.
• Any vessel experience accepted.
• Previous experience as an Able Seaman.
• Good English communication skills.
