AB for Container Carrier Vessel

Job Description

Jebsen PTC is recruiting an experienced Able Seaman (AB) for a Container Vessel. The AB will support deck operations, mooring, cargo handling, maintenance, and general seamanship duties onboard.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with mooring, anchoring, and deck operations.
• Support cargo-handling activities.
• Perform routine deck maintenance, cleaning, and painting.
• Maintain deck equipment and work areas.
• Participate in drills and follow onboard safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid AB certification and STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant AB experience.
• Container Vessel experience is an advantage.
• Valid seafarer documents.
• Good English communication skills.
