AB for Container Carrier Vessel

Job Description:

SSM Maritime Services Inc. is currently recruiting an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a Container Carrier Vessel. The successful candidate will support daily deck operations, vessel maintenance, mooring activities, and cargo-related operations while maintaining safe working conditions onboard.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out routine deck maintenance and housekeeping.
• Assisting with mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations.
• Maintaining deck equipment and work areas.
• Supporting deck officers during daily vessel operations.
• Following onboard safety procedures and company regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Able Seaman (AB).
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Medical fitness certificate.
• Valid seafarer documents.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Container Carrier Vessel experience is preferred.
