Job Description
OJ Crew is currently recruiting an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a newly built CO₂ Carrier DP2 vessel sailing under the Netherlands flag.
The successful candidate will support deck operations, navigational watchkeeping, mooring activities, maintenance duties, and ensure safe vessel operations in accordance with international maritime regulations and company procedures.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced tanker or gas vessel ratings seeking a modern DP2 vessel with a fixed rotation schedule.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform navigational watchkeeping duties as assigned.
- Participate in mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations.
- Carry out deck maintenance, painting, and preservation work.
- Maintain deck equipment and operational readiness.
- Assist with safety drills and emergency response procedures.
- Support DP2 vessel operations in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, and company HSE standards.
- Work effectively within a multinational crew.
Requirements
General Requirements
- EU Passport is mandatory.
- Previous experience as Able Seaman on tanker or gas vessels.
- Valid STCW 2010 certification package.
- Valid Certificate of Proficiency (STCW II/5).
- Basic Gas Tanker Cargo Operations Certificate is mandatory.
- Valid Passport, Seaman's Book, and Medical Certificate.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities.
- Physically and medically fit for sea service.
