Job Description:
Trans Star Shipping Agency Corp. is currently recruiting an experienced Able Seaman (AB) for employment onboard Bulk Carrier / Woodship Carrier vessels. Candidates with relevant experience in rank are encouraged to apply.
Open Position:
• Able Seaman (AB)
Key Responsibilities:
• Performing general deck and seamanship duties onboard
• Assisting with mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations
• Carrying out deck maintenance and keeping work areas in safe condition
• Assisting officers and the deck team with daily vessel operations
• Following vessel safety, security, and HSE procedures
Requirements:
• Previous experience as an Able Seaman (AB)
• Experience onboard Bulk Carrier / Woodship Carrier vessels preferred
• Valid AB certification / Certificate of Proficiency
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid seafarer’s medical certificate
• Valid passport and Seaman’s Book
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multinational crew
