AB for Bulk Carrier Vessel

Job Description:

Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a Bulk Carrier vessel. The successful candidate will assist with deck operations, maintenance, mooring, anchoring, and cargo-related activities while maintaining high standards of safety and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform routine deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and preservation.
• Assist with mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations.
• Stand navigational and/or security watches as assigned.
• Operate and maintain deck equipment under supervision.
• Follow onboard safety procedures and instructions from senior officers.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid Able Seaman certification.
• Previous experience on bulk carriers or similar vessels is preferred.
