AB for Supramax / Handy Bulk Carrier Vessels

Job Description

KJCM Maritime Corporation is seeking an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join a Supramax / Handy Bulk Carrier.

Candidates must hold a valid US Visa and the required seafarer documentation. The AB will support the deck department with routine maintenance, mooring, cargo-related deck operations, and general vessel duties.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform general deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and preservation.
• Assist with mooring, anchoring, and berthing operations.
• Support cargo and deck operations as directed by deck officers.
• Maintain deck equipment and working areas.
• Follow vessel safety procedures and company instructions.

Requirements

• Valid Able Seaman certification
• Previous AB experience; bulk carrier experience advantageous
• Valid US Visa – Required
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid passport and seafarer's documentation
• Good English communication skills
