Job Description:
Our client is urgently recruiting Able Seamen (AB) for a Bulk Carrier Vessel operating on a tramping trade. The AB will assist with deck operations, cargo handling, mooring, maintenance, and other duties assigned by the deck officers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with mooring, anchoring, and other deck operations.
- Supporting cargo handling and securing activities.
- Performing routine deck maintenance and preservation.
- Assisting with safety and emergency drills.
- Carrying out duties assigned by the Bosun and deck officers.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience as an Able Seaman on merchant vessels.
- Breakbulk vessel experience is advantageous.
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Good knowledge of deck safety procedures.
