Job Description:
KJCM Maritime Corporation is urgently recruiting 5 Able Seamen (AB) to join a Capesize Bulk Carrier on an ASAP basis. The successful candidates will support the deck department with cargo operations, mooring and anchoring, deck maintenance, navigational watchkeeping, and general safety duties onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform routine deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and preservation work.
Assist with mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations.
Participate in navigational watchkeeping duties as assigned.
Assist with safety drills, emergency response, and lifesaving equipment checks.
Follow vessel and company safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an Able Seaman (AB)
Previous Bulk Carrier / Capesize experience preferred
Valid AB certification/COP
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good command of English
Ability to work effectively as part of a multinational crew
Availability to join ASAP
