AB / CROP for General Cargo Vessel

Job Description

An experienced Able Seaman / CROP is required to join a Norwegian-flagged General Cargo Vessel. The vessel has a GT of 2,528 and DWT of 3,389 and is equipped with two NMF cranes with a Safe Working Load of 35T each and tandem-lift capability up to 70T.

The successful candidate must have previous CROP experience on General Cargo vessels and be able to support deck operations, cargo handling, crane operations, mooring, and general deck maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform deck duties, including mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations.
• Assist with cargo handling and operations involving vessel cranes.
• Carry out routine deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and preservation.
• Support safe operation and preparation of deck equipment.
• Follow vessel safety procedures and instructions from deck officers.

Requirements

• Previous CROP experience on General Cargo vessels.
• Valid STCW documents.
• Valid CoC II/5.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Good English communication skills.
• Valid seafarer documentation and passport.
