4th Engineer for Oil / Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description:

Stella Marris Shipmanagement Inc. is looking for a Fourth Engineer to join an Oil/Chemical Tanker. The successful candidate will support the senior engineering officers in machinery operation, routine maintenance, equipment inspections, and engine-room watchkeeping duties.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with the operation and maintenance of auxiliary machinery.
• Perform routine engine-room inspections and maintenance.
• Monitor machinery conditions and report operational issues.
• Assist with repairs and planned maintenance tasks.
• Maintain engine-room cleanliness and comply with safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Certificate of Competency or other applicable engineering qualification.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid Seaman's Book and passport.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Previous experience as a Fourth Engineer on Oil/Chemical Tankers is preferred.
• Valid tanker training certificates as applicable.
