4th Engineer for LPG Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Jebsen PTC Maritime Incorporated is seeking a qualified Fourth Engineer to assist with engine-room operations and machinery maintenance onboard an LPG tanker. The candidate will work under the supervision of senior engineering officers to support safe and reliable vessel operations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with the operation and maintenance of engine-room machinery.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Monitor assigned equipment and report defects to senior engineers.
• Maintain engine-room cleanliness, tools, and maintenance records.
• Follow onboard safety, environmental, and emergency procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Engineer Officer Certificate of Competency appropriate to the rank and vessel.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid seafarer medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and Seaman’s Book.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Relevant engine-room experience; LPG tanker experience and applicable gas tanker qualifications should meet company and flag requirements.
