Job Description
Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is recruiting a Fourth Engineer to support engine room operations and assist with the safe operation and maintenance of machinery onboard a container vessel.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Operating and maintaining assigned engine room equipment.
- Carrying out routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Assisting with repairs and reporting machinery defects.
- Maintaining engine room cleanliness and technical records.
- Following safety and environmental procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Fourth Engineer’s Certificate of Competency or applicable qualification.
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
- Relevant engineering sea service.
- Container vessel experience preferred.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Valid passport and Seaman’s Book.
