Job Description:
Star Ocean Manning Philippines Inc. is recruiting Third Officers for tanker vessels. The successful candidate will support safe navigation, bridge watchkeeping, safety operations, and general deck activities onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Conduct navigational watches and assist with safe vessel navigation.
Maintain bridge equipment, charts, logs, and navigational records.
Assist with safety drills, emergency preparedness, and onboard inspections.
Support cargo and deck operations as directed by senior officers.
Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and maritime regulations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid OOW / Third Officer Certificate of Competency
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Relevant experience on tanker vessels preferred
Valid seafarer documentation
