Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified Third Officer (3O) to join our Cement Carrier vessel. The vessel operates in [insert region or area], transporting cement cargo. Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with watchkeeping duties, ensuring the safety of the vessel and crew during the assigned watch.
• Supporting the navigation team with chart corrections, voyage planning, and ensuring proper vessel routing.
• Conducting regular safety inspections, ensuring all equipment and life-saving appliances are in good working condition.
• Maintaining the vessel’s logbook and records of navigational data, operational activities, and safety drills.
• Participating in safety drills, training sessions, and ensuring the crew follows safety protocols.
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
